Bife á cavalo is a traditional dish in Brazil. It may be originated from Alcatra, Coxão-Mole, Maminha or even Fraldinha.

It is a grilled, sometimes dip fried steak, with fried eggs on top. It is usually served with rice, beans and a salad.
