Yomi Kasali

Reverend Abayomi Matthew Kasali (born 28 February 1963) is a Nigerian minister. He is the founder and senior pastor of the Foundation of Truth Assembly[1][2] headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the founder of the non-governmental organisation 5 Loaves 2 Fishes.[3][4]

Early life

Yomi was born into a Muslim family. He converted to Christianity in the early 80s after which he went on to be ordained into full time ministry in 1995 at the National Headquarters of Foursquare Gospel Church.[5]

He is the senior pastor of Foundation of Truth Assembly headquartered in Lagos with branches in Abuja and Houston. He founded a humanitarian outreach; 5 Loaves 2 Fishes[4][3] aimed at feeding the less privilege, providing clothing and medi-care to the less privilege. His telecast, Impact Today airs Sundays on Silverbird Television at 2:30pm.[6]

He is the President, Berean Ministers Group and secretary of the Nigerian Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (NCAL) an affiliate of International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (ICAL). He is also the current chairman of the Nigerian Pilgrims Commission and a member of the governing council of the University of Lagos.[7][8][9][10][11]

Personal life

He is married to Pastor Sharon Adefunke Kasali[12] and they are blessed with 2 children[2].
