What I do here

You will find me editing a lot of articles to do with video games. This is one of my greatest passions and is one thing I know much about. Animated shows\films (mostly North American and European) are my secondary passion, followed by every other form of 'art' (painting, sculpture, film, etc.).

My first edits to this page were to do with the Silent Hill and Silent Hill (video game) section. Since then I have branched out to my other interests. You will often find me arguing over minute details with people who merely delete things instead of making them more accurate. I am quick to use the word prick to describe these people on talk pages, as well as not shying away from the use of sarcasm.

For now I am focusing on starting articles instead of completing them, although I will take the time to improve articles from time to time.

Feel free to discuss some of my actions with my on my talk page. I don't mind discussing things.

On the topic of me

I'm a guy from Ottawa, ON who is a rather big fan of video games, comic and animation fan (no Japanese anime though).

I myself am an animator and comic book artist and am currently working on a short stop motion film and two comic books.

I am a fan surrealism and expressionism and, as such, am partial to such names as Sam Kieth (of The Maxx, Four Women), John Kricfalusi (of Ren & Stimpy, The Ripping Friends), Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim, I Feel Sick), Salvador Dalí (works are too numerous and well known to recount), Man Ray (same as Dalí), Edvard Munch (pronounced 'monk', creator of The Scream), Matthew Barney (The Cremaster Cycle), David Cronenberg (eXistenZ, Videodrome), Don Hertzfeldt (Rejected, The Animation Show), Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Milton series), David Lynch (Eraserhead, Lost Highway), among others.

In respect to video games, I have written many papers on the subject, mainly its relation to popular culture and am a major proponent of the idea of 'video game as art'. Despite my apparent affinity towards Nintendo creations, I tend to favour franchises owned by Konami as I feel such titles as Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid are two of the most, to use a term used by the United States' Library of Congress, 'culturally significant' games to date. I am currently investigating the Castlevania series, but early reports are grim. I am really interested in the video game anomalies, such as the failed Virtual Boy and Game.com consoles\handhelds, the currently successful Nintendo DS, and the now released Nintendo Wii.

I recently graduated from university with a general Arts degree and have no idea what to do with it. If anyone has any use for an artistic theorist who draws, writes, and\or plays bass, let me know.

While I'm open to criticism, I do not apprecaite your slander. While we're at it, you forgot:

agruing -> arguing
focussing -> focusing
affinty -> affinity

My acctual name, Thaddius, that I have been spelling since grade 1, is spelled correctly, thank you. It is not my fault that you aren't open to alternate spellings of names. Also, the '\' that I used is fine. You're just being picky. I fixed the real errors, cause they seem to bother you enough to call me a 'shithead'.

Apparently this person doesn't know how to spell my name, nor does he have enough balls to sign up for a real account to make edits. I'm going to do what I can to make sure that their IP is banned.

UPDATE: It already WAS banned. Apparently I'm not the first person to be attacked by this user. Their ip is 69.108.175.213. If anyone here reading this notices any activity on their part, please inform a moderator.
