Marlin (Finding Nemo)

Marlin is a clownfish in the Pixar film Finding Nemo. He is the father of Nemo and helps the disabled Dory.

Story

Template:Spoiler Marlin was married to Coral, a clownfish. They lived on the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia in the Pacific Ocean. One day, they were waiting for their fries to come out of Coral's eggs, when a vicious barracuda came out of nowhere and ate Coral and all but one egg. This egg grew up to be Nemo.
Later, on Nemo's first day of school, Marlin becomes too overprotective and Nemo runs away, eventually getting caught by divers. Marlin chases after the divers' boat, eventually running into a regal blue tang named Dory, who suffers from short-term memory loss. The two help each other on the way to Sydney, where Nemo is being kept in a dentist's office's fish tank. Nemo is taken down the sink in the dentist's office and eventually ends up in the ocean, where he meets Dory, who takes Nemo to Marlin. Marlin and Nemo apologize to each other and Marlin, from then on, is no longer overprotective. Template:Endspoiler
