St Peter's Church

Goytre is a village near the town of Port Talbot, south Wales.

in Welsh it is known as Goetre [1]

St Peter's Church (Church in Wales) is a 'tin tabernacle' opened in 1915. It closed down in late 2017. Also as of 2019 it has been put up for sale since its closure [2]

The local football team is Goytre United F.C. who are based at Glenhafod Park Stadium.
