Mugdha Chaphekar is an Indian television actress who has worked in shows like Star Plus's Prithviraj Chauhan and Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural. She won the Maharashtra State Award for The Best Actress Debut for The Silence. The film released in 2017 and dealt with child sexual abuse within family and was directed by Gajendra Ahire. She has awarded "Best Actress" title by Maharashtra Government. She is Currently Playing Prachi Arora In The TV Series Kumkum Bhagya. Winner of STAR Parivaar Award for Favourite Yogya Jodi for Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2007), Zee Rishtey Award 2014 for Favourite Naya Sadasya (Female) for Satrangi Sasural, Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female) at Gold Awards 2019 for Kumkum Bhagya.
