Since then,no designer was touching nepali movie Yubi Thapa was the one who evolved the fashion of nepali movie industry. Won NEFTA Award in 2011 for Prem geet 1. Yubi Thapa had Done dozens of Blockbuster movies ie: Prem Geet 1,Prem Geet 2, Bir Bikram, Kri ,Happy Days,Captain,Ae mro hajur 2 , Break-up,Ae mro hajur 3,Intu Mintu London Ma.Also he has done dozens of fashion shows within the nation and internationally ie USA,Hong-kong,Australia,Belgium.His signature design is Hand-paintaing design which he showcased in USA.Also u can see in mro hajur 2 song which he painted all moutains,rivers,snows,greenary and natural scenery in one gown it takes nearly 5months to complete the whole gown in Ae mro Hajur 2 (OST Kasam ho song 1:47, 3:40) which Actress samraghee rl shah wore.
