The iPad (officially eighth-generation iPad) is a tablet computer developed and marketed by Apple Inc. as the successor to the 7th-generation iPad. It features the same 10.2-inch Retina display, with the only upgrade being the Apple A12 Bionic processor featuring 6 core CPU thus making it 40% faster than its predecessor, thanks to its smaller in size transistors being 5nm each making it the first chip in the industry to do so.[1] It will be open to the public on September 18, 2020.[1]
It has support for the first generation Apple Pencil and has a smart keyboard connector.
