Follow Alana is a popular televised travel show hosted by Alana Nichols and produced by Aurora Digital Media Co Ltd., now streaming in both North America and across Asia. The show tracks Alana—born profoundly deaf and effectively communicates with the assistance of a cochlear implant and Auditory-Verbal Therapy—on her worldwide travel adventures.[1]

In the show’s run, Alana circles the globe while personally connecting with new and culturally diverse natives, fellow adventurers and local celebrity personalities as she passionately explores the unique cultural opportunities and rich cuisines of her far flung destinations. The show’s globetrotting platform allows Alana to engage her own vibrant personality in vastly diverse environments within local cultural settings, all while always encouraging her home audience to build loving, caring and consciously sustainable relationships with their own home environments.

The show has been a popular hit in Taiwan since its 2017 debut, and beginning March 19, 2021, became available on Apple TV and Google Play, with popularity on YouTube (currently garnering over 10K subscribers) in North America. It is also available on numerous other online platforms throughout Asia.

Prior to its US debut, Fodor’s travel guide named Alana, “the definition of #travelinspiration” and described the show as, “the most wholesome travel show you didn’t know you needed.” [2]

In addition to exploring the more well-known dimensions of Swiss culture, Alana introduces diverse cultural gems, lifestyles, and cuisines of her destinations with an emphasis on building a loving and sustainable relationship with the environment. Follow Alana has been broadcast on television in Taiwan for six seasons and can now be found on Apple TV, Google Play, and YouTube.

Follow Alana has won a number of distinguished television awards and was also (2018) nominated for a New York International Television & Film Festival Award.
