Godsend is the twelfth episode of the NBC supernatural drama series Heroes.
Plot
Some of the cliffhangers from the previous episode are resolved. Claude (Christopher Eccleston), a new British hero, is introduced. Claude will offer a different view of the recent changes that have happened in the human evolutionary process and meet Peter Petrelli. "He's been living with his invisibility for many years and has come to grips with it, so he'll give us a different view into this hero world," Tim Kring explains. "He's big, imposing and charismatic, and will become a mentor to Peter — albeit a tough, reluctant and stern one. He'll help Peter learn to use and control his powers."

- The advertising for this episode introduces a new tagline, "Are you on the list?", referring to Chandra Suresh's list of superpowered people. Mr. Bennet asks Mohinder if he is on the list when he says that
- Ando mentions that the the symbol on the katana appears to be a combination of two Japanese kanji 才 ([sai] Error: {{nihongo}}: text has italic markup (help), "great talent") and 与 ([yo] Error: {{nihongo}}: text has italic markup (help), "godsend").
