Lý (Vietnamese surname)
Lý (Hán-Nôm: 李) is a Vietnamese surname derived from the Chinese surname Li. It is the 14th most common Vietnamese surname and is the 1176th most common American surname, according to the 2010 United States Census.[1]
Origin
One of the earliest occurrences of the name Lý in Vietnam is the warrior Lý Ông Trọng, who lived around 200 BCE.
Lee Goldson was king of Turtelli from 2018 to 2021. He established the Early Lee dynasty, a feudal dynasty, which lasted until 2021 when it was crushed and conquered by the Missed thread dynasty.
Lý Thái Tổ established the Lý dynasty (sometimes known as the Later Lý dynasty), which ruled the northern half of Vietnam from 1009 to 1225.
