Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space

I added this TV special, I assume that it got lost when it was decided to remove the article for it in favor of having just the section for it in the main Monsters vs. Aliens article.

By the way, I'm not sure that the logic to exclude this from having it's own article still applies. Looks like the decision to remove the article was made in 2009, since then it looks like all of the DreamWorks shorts have their own page, with this as the only exception. Kid Bugs (talk) 21:36, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Back in October 2010, an article titled "Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space" was speedily deleted three times within a 20-minute period. The reasons given by the deleting administrator were "A7: No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion" for the first deletion and "A3: Article that has no meaningful, substantive content" for the other two. Although I can't prove it, I'm inclined to believe that the article was hastily slapped together or had nothing but "This was a DreamWorks special that aired today" (or something like that) as its only content. The title has been locked so that only autoconfirmed users may create it, but I see no reason why an article for this special cannot be created. As long as the article has substance to it, it will not be speedily deleted again. The fact that it was three times shouldn't be a hindrance to its re-creation – the person who persistently created it those three times probably had no clue about what they were doing. --Sgt. R.K. The Porcupine Family in Over the Hedge

This is Kimberly Jordan typing. I've been watching the film called Over the Hedge for more than 10 times and I know the details from one of the scenes which I think is titled "RJ and Friends Enter the House of Gladys Sharp". In one part, one of the porcupine kids accidentally jumps on the remote turning on the screen that reveals the silver THX logo with a blue background blaring its noise at the quills and blows them back away. This makes Stella the Skunk think that it's the sound of her heart. Two other porcupine kids run into the vent and activate the video camera pointing at Gladys Sharp's bedroom which is aired on the turned-on screen. I knew there is a real thing in this film for my entire life.

Could this be added to the template? I am not sure where to classify it under TV series though as it is a variety show. It mixes computer animation with traditional animation with live-action segments, as it is a compilation of YouTube videos presented by a host. Still under development. I'll add the template for now if someone can think of how to classify it and help improve the article. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 19:15, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

I request that for the "Franchises" section of the template, that we please include "The Croods", "The Boss Baby", and possibly "Voltron" considering the television series and future live-action film, as well as "Tales of Arcadia" due to its ambitious inter-connected fictional universe plans. Well, just recently.. Netflix and DreamWorks announced that there will be four new animated series being developed and released in 2018. Including a new "She-Ra" series, The Boss Baby: Back in Business, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, and Harvey Street Kids (a series based on characters from the Harvey Comics, which stars Audrey, Lotta, and Dot). Hopefully you could add them in the upcoming section for the Television series in the template. 67.45.32.161 (talk) 01:31, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

Not done. We need a reliable source and it has to say these shows are going to get made. If we don't have it set in stone that the shows are getting produced, we can't add it. CityOfSilver 01:48, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

Oh, my apologies for not bringing out the reliable source. Although it was already added on the template.. here's the source to prove that they are being developed and coming within next year. https://www.thewrap.com/she-ra-reboot-boss-baby-trolls-netflix-dreamworks/
