Bellator 285: Henderson vs. Queally (also known as Bellator Dublin) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by Bellator MMA, scheduled to take place on 23 September 2022 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.[1][2][3][4]
Background
Bellator is set to return to Dublin for the second time in 2022, featuring Irish fighters Sinead Kavanagh and Peter Queally on the main card, with Queally facing off against Benson Henderson, while Kavanagh's opponent to be announced.[1][5]
After initially being booked for May 6, 2022 at Bellator 280 and being scrapped due to a hand injury to Manhoef,[6] Yoel Romero and Melvin Manhoef was rescheduled for this event.[7]
A bantamweight bout between Brett Johns and James Gallagher was scheduled for this event.[8] However in August, it was announced that Gallagher pulled out of the bout due to unknown reasons and a replacement was being seeked.[9]
