What's the connection?

The article should explain the connection between the Escoe Building and Jake Simmons. Right now it seems that this article should be split into two separate articles, one about the building and one about Jake Simmons. Sbowers3 (talk) 03:37, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you created a Jake Simmons Jr. article. It would still be a good idea to explain in this article why the building is named the "Simmons" building and in the Jake Simmons article to say that he built or occupied or whatever the connection the historic Escoe building.
