The Grey Lady is the ghost for Ravenclaw House in the Harry Potter novels. See Hogwarts ghosts.

The Gray Lady is a nickname for the New York Times newspaper, in reference to its tradition of presenting lots of words and few pictures.

The Grey Lady is the name of a number of well-known ghosts of Great Britain. The most famous Grey Ladies are the ones of Warkworth Castle, Stirling Castle, Auckley, Lancaster's Grand Theater, Beamish Hall, and Denbigh Castle.

It is thought that these ghost stories may have been the inspiration for J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter character of the same name.
