Sleep hyperhidrosis, more commonly known as night sweats, is the occurrence of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis during sleep.

Night sweats may occur for congential reasons and may be relatively harmless. However, they can be distressing and disrupt sleep patterns if severe.
