The Glomosporiaceae are a family of fungi,[1] in the order Urocystidales. As accepted by Wijayawardene et al. 2020.[2]
The family contained 4 genera and about 105 species. Until being revised to 1 genus with 61 species.[2]
Glomosporium is a former genus of fungi, formerly placed in the family Glomosporiaceae.[3] The genus was first described by Kochman in 1939. They were later absorbed into the genus Thecaphora.[4]
