Birk District (Template:Lang-fa) is in Mehrestan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Chahuk,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 1,320 people in 311 households.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Zaboli District was separated from Saravan County, and Ashar District from Sarbaz County in the establishment of Zaboli County (now Mehrestan County).[4]

After the 2016 census, Birk Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Birk District, which was divided into two rural districts.[2]
