Additional fare?

This means that passengers who desire to transfer between these stations will have to exit the system and pay another fare.

Surely not? I thought Metrocards allowed for "out of system fares" -- free transfers, essentially, even if you had to leave the paid area. There are several free out-of-system transfers throughout the system -- why wouldn't this be one of them? --Jfruh (talk) 01:37, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The quote seems to be gone from the page. I find myself baffled by the current content "no paid transfer." Does it actually mean "no free transfer"? A free transfer means no further fare is due. A paid transfer means more fare is due. "No paid transfer" could either mean that no fare is due or full fare is due. Thisisnotatest (talk) 04:35, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Construction dates etc.

Well, the North platform isn't open yet... But Dey Street is open again... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.82.177.203 (talk) 07:24, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seaport district?

". . . is part of a greater east-west corridor between the Seaport District and the World Financial Center and Battery Park." Eh? Is there a plan to dig that far towards the East River? Jim.henderson (talk) 22:50, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

yeah I'm not sure what that or the fare control part (referenced above) meant, but it definitely made more sense in present than future. I could be wrong on that though StarM 23:30, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
