Some obvious Cthulhu Mythos references here. Maybe they deserve a mention on this page? I'd do it myself, but I'm in the middle of exams. --Sir Ophiuchus 19:13, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel?

Is there some source for this, a search on IMDB turns up nothing.

It is hard to imagine this dreadful flick inspiring a sequel - although the title itself might be recycled. Among the many defects of this film is apparent indecision whether Denise Crosby was playing a serious or a comic role -- she bungles a simple embalming in Three Stooges fashion. Also obvious - really obvious - errors about funeral practice, especially for an audience which had already made Six Feet Under a successful cable series; rigor mortis in a corpse that's been dead more than a day and showing the signs of an autopsy to boot, using expensive coffins to store untreated corpses, etc. 173.79.234.183 (talk) 15:21, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot description needs work

"After the loss of their father, the Doyle family – Leslie, Jonathan, and Jamie – move to the Fowler Mortuary in hope of starting a new life..."

Um... they just arbitrarily decide to move in to a mortuary?

"Sheriff Howell investigates the crypts, where Bobby Fowler infects him"

With what? Herpes? The Andromeda Strain? A head cold?

Pretty ragged. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.253 (talk) 00:27, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
