Is it encyclopedic to say things like, "Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is haunted by the Grey Lady..."?—Biosketch (talk) 03:59, 19 June 2011 (UTC) would you prefer if it said is reportedly haunted by?RafikiSykes (talk) 10:42, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How many to list

Ok I have been sorting through haunted scottish locations articles and we now have 68 in the category. should they all have a brief mention here or only the best known/widely reported ones?RafikiSykes (talk) 16:41, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Descriptions

I've noticed that a lot of the entries found in this article do not list descriptions for the spirits that purportedly haunt them. Someone needs to add them so that it balances the article out with the other description of places.--Paleface Jack (talk) 17:35, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Brightmony Farmhouse

I have removed Brightmony Farmhouse from this list as a) there is no link to any article b) no sources cited c) no context given for its inclusion. Dunarc (talk) 20:50, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edinample Castle

I have removed Edinample Castle from the list. There was no source cited as to why it should be included, and as I have noted at Talk:Edinample Castle there is no mention in its article of claims of hauntings or other paranormal activity. If someone finds that such claims exist and can source them then it can always be re-added to this list in the future, but in the absence of such claims I do not think it is appropriate to include it. No Glasgow or Paisley location, no Dundee, no Perth

I had a look at most of the entries, most are castles in countryside areas. I could see no or very few references to locations in Glasgow, Paisley, Dundee, Ayr (the town), Perth, or Kilmarnock. It seems to me to be a skewed list then. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C8:9C32:F001:B14E:D6FF:1919:CF8A (talk) 20:54, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
