St. Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN) is a non-profit network of 12 hospitals and over 300 outpatient sites. The health network is headquartered in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley metropolitan region of eastern and also Carbon County Pennsylvania.

As of 2024, the network has over 16,000 employees and is the second-largest private sector employer in the Lehigh Valley region.[1]

History

The network started in 1872 [2] with St. Luke's Hospital, now known as St. Luke's University Hospital, which became a primary teaching hospital for Temple University School of Medicine in 1901. St. Luke's University Hospital is a non-profit, tertiary-care, teaching hospital with campuses in Allentown and Bethlehem in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
