WDRQ is the callsign for the former Detroit FM radio station 93.1 DRQ.

History

"DETROIT'S #1 HIT MUSIC STATION - 93.1 DRQ" first came to Detroit in 1996, replacing "93.1 The Light FM." After 9 long years of service in the Detroit metropolitan area, ABC Radio (ABC is owned by Disney) abruptly pulled DRQ off the air at 1 PM EST on April 1st, 2005. This was no April fools joke. ABC Radio replaced DRQ with "93.1 DOUG fm - We Play... EVERYTHING!" See: 93.1 DOUG fm
