"Steered Straight" is a fourth season episode of the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh. It premiered on March 11, 2007.
Plot summary
Template:Spoiler Drake gets tickets to see The Hailstones, a band which will be performing in The Reptile Room, a 21-and-over venue. After using fake IDs and the identies Jefferson Stealtoe and Alvin Yukatori to get in they are caught and brought home. As a result Drake and Josh have to go to a "Steered Straight" program which simulates an arrest, but on the first night, the police officer gets his car stolen during a convenience store robbery. TDrake and Josh pretend to be criminals and try to get rid of the robber by luring him to their house claiming they plan to rob it but the robber joins them. They get in through the window and the criminal goes downstairs and Drake and Josh try to call 911 while handcuffed but the criminal shows up and asks who they were calling, Drake and Josh said that they were calling more criminals to plot a kidnapping of the governor. The robber decides to join them and calls his crew to assist. The other criminals set the boys free but Walter comes home. Drake and Josh ambush him, cuff him and lock him in the upstairs closet. Then the boys come up with an idea. Using Josh's magic kit Drake acts as a psycho faking biting off Josh's hand. This frightens the criminals who run out. Later on, Drake, Josh, Audrey, and Megan are eating at BF Wangs and Drake and Josh realize that they forgot about Walter but continue eating.

- In The Storm, a restaurant called B.F. Wang's is mentioned. In this episode, it is featured.
- Walter and Audrey mentioned previous episodes such as Tree House and the The Gary Grill and they find out about the traffic ticket Josh got in Driver's License.
- There is a scene where Walter is in a pink dress. He "gropes" himself. The "breasts" are really grapefruits.
- The Reptile Room is a possible reference to the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" book of the same name.
- In one scene, Megan mentions that she thought Taylor from next door was a boy after being told by her father that she is, in fact, a girl. Later, when Taylor shows up at the door, "she" is played by Brent Tarnol.
- Running Gag: The Criminal who stole the police car told Josh he has a big head and Josh replies "yeah old news dude".
