Ibo Aslan (born 23 April 1996) is a Turkish professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Background

Halil İbrahim Demiraslan was born on 23 April 1996 in Akçaören village of Altunhisar.[3][4][5] When he was only seven years old, the family moved to Austria because of his father's job.[6] At the age of thirteen, he could not enjoy football and turned to martial arts.[6] He was first interested in kickboxing, then wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.[6]

Mixed martial arts career

Early career

Dana White's Contender Series

Aslan made his Dana White's Contender Series debut on August 15, 20238.[7] He faced Paulo Renato Jr. and won the fight via technical knockout in round one The win earned Walker a spot on the UFC's roster.[8]

Ultimate Fighting Championship

Aslan faced Anton Turkalj in a rematch on March 30, 2024 at UFC on ESPN 54.[9] He won the fight via technical knockout in round three.[10]

In his second fight, Aslan faced Rafael Cerqueira on October 26, 2024 at UFC 308.[11] He won the fight via technical knockout in first round.[12]

Aslan is scheduled to face Ion Cuțelaba on February 22, 2025 at UFC Fight Night 252.[13]
