UN/EDIFACT

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 62.210.124.242 (talk) at 16:01, 4 May 2005 (it is definitely a tech-stub, and should address the even-more-stub EDIFACT article :-)). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

UN/EDIFACT is the international EDI standard developed under the United Nations. The acronym stands for United Nations/Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce, and Transport. The work of maintenance and further development of this standard is done through UN/CEFACT, the United Nations Centre for Electronic commerce For Administration, Commerce, and Transport under the UN Committee on Trade, Economic and Social Council.
