Hi. Sorry to bother you, but I'm having some trouble on the Punk'd article. An unregistered user named BigBang19 keeps re-inserting material into the article that is irrelevant, poorly worded, etc. I've tried posting a message on that article's Talk Page, but he has not responded. Because he had no User Page, my message to him was the first one on it. If you could check out the bottommost section on the Talk Page and chime in with your two cents on his revisions, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Nightscream 05:53, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- I understand if you feel what you'd say would be redundant, but the reason I wanted you to chime in is so that if BigBang happened to read the Talk Page, that he'd see that he was in the minority, and stop what he's doing. Nightscream 16:10, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Your VandalProof Application
Dear Intinn,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact with the new 1.2 version release it has even more power. As such we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that for security reasons, VandalProof's creator requires it's users to have made 250 edits to articles, which you have not. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again in the not too distant future. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen 01:13, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Carefree
The edit war seems to be one anon adding what another team has adapted the lyrics to, and then another adding the subsequent response. As a Chelsea fan I know the original lyrics, but I can't verify them through reliable sources, so I think it would be best to leave it as just a stub for now. It may also be worth requesting protection for the page until something can be agreed. SteveO 16:18, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Milwaukee PC
Honestly, I'd nominate it as a prod instead of a speedy. It's not that clear cut, I don't think. But essentially, it's a regional computer retailer. Notable? Not sure. But I'd go with prod just to be on the safe side. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 10:25, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

RE: Anon Userpage Vandal 81.78.103.235
To be honest, I'm not sure. Could you point out to me what makes you think they are one, please? Thanks. —Xyrael / 09:52, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I understand how these are rather nasty (indeed, my school's filter blocked me viewing the third diff), but I don't quite understand what makes you suspect a sockpuppet 8) —Xyrael / 10:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Deletion of Numerical simulation
Hi, you have proposed the article Numerical simulation for deletion. I was not watching my talk pages for some time, so the article was already deleted when I saw your notice on my talk. In this way I couldn't do anything (e.g. improve the article) and did not see your explanation in the deletion notice.
I think Wikipedia should definitely have an article on numerical simulation, because the subject has a great importance in modern life (numerical simulations are extensively used in design of structures such as bridges, tunnels and buildings, in understanding and design of forming processes, various kinds of population models are used in predictions of epidemic spreads or macroeconomic developments, etc.) and its importance will grow increasingly. In the future this article would probably evolve into a larger article with plenty of links and images, but for the beginning a simple explanation of what numerical simulations are, with some links, would be sufficient to attract contributors who would wish to improve the article.
Now a question - is it possible to see the contents of the article after it has been deleted? is it possible to see somewhere explanation of reasons for deletion? I could use this to prepare an improved version that would match the Wikipedia standards. Ajgorhoe 09:37, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

My edit
It shouldn't have been reverted, because I moved the POV to the other end of the spetrum, but the article actually has less POV than before. On a scale from -10 to +10, it had -8 and now has +5.
- I can agree with you upto a certain point. The article does not come across as neutral, either way. However, even if you only edited to make your point you'd be better off adressing your NPOV concerns on the talk page rather than going ahead and making nonsense edits. FelisLeoTalk! 21:39, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
I agree with you that the article is probably not wholly NPOV, which tends to be the case for most articles on "causes" of one kind or another. Personally, I also have a limited tolerance for "Criticism of" articles; perhaps we should give it a different name (maybe Bullfighting and animal rights?), and it would certainly be proper to give more discussion to views that bullfighting is not inhumane. I do think, though, that the topic probably does deserve its own article, considering that the anti-bullfighting cause is a significant movement.--Pharos 22:35, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up. I've added some more information to hopefully make the article more palatable to you. I would think that a person elected to the highest office of an international denomination with well over a million members would qualify as notable. At least as notable as say, Oak Lawn Community High School. Kevin Rector (talk) 03:03, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
