Two different British sloops of war active during the War of 1812:

The first was sunk by USS Hornet off the coast of Guiana on February 24, 1813.

The second was built in 1806 and commissioned USS Wasp in 1807. Captured by the British in October, 1812, she foundered off off the Virginia Capes in 1813.
