Olds is a small town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located Template:Km to mi south of Red Deer, the nearest large community, along Highway 2A and the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks.

Olds is Template:Km to mi north from Calgary. Olds College is noted for its Agricultural Programs, as well as its Fashion Marketing Studies.

Demographics

In 2006, Olds had a population of 7,248 living in 3,190 dwellings, a 9.7% increase from 2001. The town has a land area of Template:Km2 to mi2 and a population density of Template:Pop density km2 to mi2.[1]
