European Professional Football Leagues (or EPFL) is a sportsorganization within football (soccer), created in 1997, originally under the name Association of the European Union Premier Professional Football Leagues (or EUPPFL). Its members are the professional football leagues of 15 countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Republic of Ireland, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Scotland (formerly Switzerland). The leagues represent 600 professional football clubs. An expansion with 7 more members to include a total of 22 countries is planned later in 2007. One of them is Poland, and another Wales.
