Ichy and Scrathcy

Not sure about this but I believe that Itchy and Scratchy are more likely to be paradies of Tom and Jerry rather than the Hppy Tree Friends, As they are a cat and mouse, also I believe that the Happy Tree Friends debuted after I&S. Any changes need to be made? 13:23, 14 April 2007

Merge

I created this article in order to cut down on the vast number of articles on the simpsons, following the deletion of a few. Hopefully, this page can be expanded to include all media mentioned in the show - even those that wouldnt be worthy of their own page - both fictional and non fictional. Homer v. Lisa and the 8th Commandment

Just wondering if it would be worth adding the cable references from the episode where the Simpsons steal cable, particularly the "Hear Me Roar" network for women (parody of Lifetime). There have been several cable spoofs on the Simpsons -- in that episode alone they have the Arts & Crafts channel mention, Poopsie the Clown being sold on some shopping channel, top hat theater (Playboy parody) and televised snail racing.

Also, that consumer watchdog show hosted by Kent Brockman is worth a mention?

Since I'm new to wikipedia, I guess I can just write information based on the episodes themselves and site the episode? Elocina 13:44, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This gets a bit messy

Maybe it's better to make this a page about the TV and Radiostations and Papers only, and make an other page with TV Programs. This page is now not complete at all, there are quite a lot and that would mess things up here. I started the List of television programs in The Simpsons. Fair use rationale for Image:Kbbl.png

Image:Kbbl.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
