According to their web site, "Casey Family Programs’ mission is to provide and improve—and ultimately to prevent the need for—foster care." Casey Family Programs works with foster, birth and kinship parents to provide support and loving homes for youth in foster care.

The foundation was founded in Seattle, WA in 1966 by Jim Casey.
