Don't let them get you down

Please. I know the continued harassment you endure is horrendous, but you shouldn't give up. Just continue contributing to Wikipedia and ignore them. Take the ArbCom pages off your watchlist, avoid MONGO, don't give a fuck about it, and return to article editing again. You are not a disruptive editor, despite what some might say. The only reason for all this nonsense is a claim that you might, theoretically, be a sockpuppet of a banned editor, which no conclusive evidence has been presented for. You are a constructive editor, and it would certainly be a loss for Wikipedia if you would leave, no matter if you're a "sockpuppet" or not. Melsaran (talk) 14:59, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have been trying but honestly at times when I login, I just stare at the screen wondering if it is worth it. Much like I did just now. I look at the articles I did create and scoff at the idea that someone is calling me a puppet, disruptive who knows what else. I do not even get the link and wish I never bothered to register an account, or participate on that AfD. It seems some people on here are just vile in their intent, or stubborn in their conviction. I am not sure where this holy than thou attitude presents itself from, nor why the community is so outraged over off-wiki comments in one Arbitration, but does not care about the continued digging into my private life, where I work and where I live (down to the neighborhood), it seems all to be hypocrisies. Only one group gets to claim the protection of privacy. I have repeatedly asked for the checkusers to be denied on the grounds they are violating just that, my privacy, information regarding where I might work or live etc. And they have all been ignored, the requests proceeding as asked. Maybe I will just ignore it for the time being until the mob has its way and are on this page with its pitch forks, then I will know it was time to move on to something else. Thank you for your kid words and support, maybe I will try to finish working on the narco-state article before the torches approach. --SevenOfDiamonds 15:34, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with absolutely everything Melsaran has said above and would like to echo the 'dont give up' :). If you leave, they will just pick on the next person who happens to come along and get involved in that minefield. They need to be stopped. Stick with it. 86.138.190.45 21:52, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have to echo Melsaran up there... your ArbCom case could still go either way and if anything, you can use the impending resolutions in the BADSITES case to combat the harassment you face. east.718 at 22:23, September 27, 2007
