CNN HD is a high-definition (HD) version of the 24-hour news channel CNN. The channel was launched on September 1, 2007.

CNN HD is a mix of high-definition and standard-definition content since not all CNN studios and news gathering cameras are HD-capable. Currently, American Morning, Lou Dobbs Tonight, Anderson Cooper 360 and In The Money (all shows based out of New York) are airing in HD. Planet in Peril, one of CNN's documentaries also aired an HD version.
