Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:52, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Answer to why

Also see Talk:Dancing with the Stars (US season 5)

Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Dancing with the Stars (US season 5), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. see Wikipedia:Citing sources also see WP:NPOV. Since your edit does not cite any references your edits were removed. --Jeanenawhitney (talk) 23:26, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Verifiability#Sources. also see above Talk:Dancing with the Stars (US season 5)#How do we source this article? and Talk:Dancing with the Stars (US season 5)#Personal stories section unless it comes from say the abc web site or a newspaper or magazine you can not put this in. --Jeanenawhitney (talk) 09:47, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

an easy solution

there's an easy solution to your predicament. open an account. it's that simple. while i'm reluctant to express motive here, the reality looks really bad. clicking 'user contributions' shows almost all edits ever performed by this IP address to be on the dancing with the stars article. if this really is a shared IP address, then the likelyhood that the IP was briefly assigned to some other roadrunner account, and that account then vandalized - of all the millions of articles on wikipedia - the dancing with the stars article, well, let's just say the odds of that happening are probably a billion to one. and then that you'd be re-assigned the same IP address again within a very short interval is also highly unlikely. on the other hand, if you habitually leave your PC unattended, and others have access to it, then it would be relatively easy for someone to 'get you in trouble' by looking at your history then purposely doing some vandalism from your PC. the solution to that? open an account. then you can log out of WP when you're away from the computer, and others can't do bad things with your account.

but, the long and short of it is that the odds of the former being the case are vanishingly small; the odds of the latter happening are better - but then the onus, the blame, rests on your shoulders for leaving your computer vulnerable to asshats who would try to get you in trouble here. so, take the next step in being responsible: open an account. then there will be no excuse. and, you'll be able to edit again. (hopefully i'm not talking through my hat - i believe that opening account will get you past the block, but perhaps not. there's only one way for you to find out, however).
