The Nijmegen Institute for Cognition and Information or NICI is a research institute for cognitive science, neuroscience and information technology. It was founded in 1986 and is currently an integral part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Radboud University Nijmegen. The institute maintains strong ties with the F.C. Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging, which is also located in Nijmegen. In order to improve visibility a merger has been proposed, which would bring the lesser known NICI under the F.C. Donders umbrella.

While being highly-interdisciplinary, the renowned research master in cognitive neuroscience officially falls under the responsibility of the NICI.
