Welcome to the Wikipedia!
Welcome to the Wikipedia, EmmDee! And thanks for weighing in with the definition proposal for the Mind control article discussion. Hope you enjoy editing here and becoming a Wikipedian! Here are some perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:
- Take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial and Manual of Style.
- When you have time, take a look at The five pillars of Wikipedia, and assume good faith, but keep in mind the unique style you brought to the Wiki!
- Always keep the notion of NPOV in mind, be respectful of others' POV, and remember your unique perspective on the meaning of neutrality is invaluable!
- If you need any help, post your question at the Help Desk.
- Explore, be bold in editing, and, above all else, have fun!
Some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, Wikiquette, and you can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes: ~~~~.
Best of luck, EmmDee, and have fun! Ombudsman 04:21, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Mark, is that you?
EmmDee = MD = Mark Dunlop? I wondered about all the mind control stuff. Haven't seen you in the ngs for a long time Mark. Stirling work on wikipedia... think we should have an article on Gary Beesley? mahaabaala 19:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Informal mediation
I have been informed you may be interested in this mediation case involving Steven Hassan. Please join us for discussion if you are interested in participating. Thank you. Vassyana 14:20, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Steve Hassan
Is informal mediation still needed for Steven Hassan? What has been going on with the article lately, in your view? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vassyana (talk • contribs) 22:40, 29 April 2007 (UTC).
FWBO article
I've completely rewritten the article, 80.2.20.68 says that it is now neutral after having added his own tweaks to the writing style, and we would like your opinion on it before we take down the neutrality banner. I have also tried to make the article much better organised and easier to read. Do you feel we can take down the cleanup banner as well? Rupa zero 08:26, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to Talk:Friends of the Western Buddhist Order has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. —αἰτίας •discussion• 22:32, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
