Amaseno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Frosinone in the Italian region Lazio, located about 100 km southeast of Rome and about 30 km south of Frosinone.
Amaseno borders the following municipalities: Castro dei Volsci, Monte San Biagio, Prossedi, Roccasecca dei Volsci, Sonnino, Vallecorsa, Villa Santo Stefano.
The village is very ancient and named in the Aeneid, a lot of Amaseno's people have immigrated in the United States of America, in Canada and South America (especially in Brazil).
The principal food product is the mozzarella of bufala, and other important product is oil of olive and "marzolina" a special cheese made by milk of goat.
