- Are you sure that isn't the flag of Lethbridge, Alberta? If you could confirm post it on the Lethbridge discussion page. Phoenix2 20:23, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
Please don't give up on the 2003 invasion of Iraq article
Obviously, that article needs help. Equally obviously, getting changes made to it that don't just get immediately reverted by someone with strong views on the war (and it seems like pretty much _everyone_ has strong views on the war one way or another), is going to take some extra effort. I thought you made a good start on that on the talk page, and I tried to continue that process with my (overlong) list of POV problems. Maybe if we can get Zen-master involved in the discussion there we can come up with a list of things to improve the article that will actually have a degree of consensus.
Anyway, please don't give up. I think we can improve it. It's just going to take time.
- I agree, I did make that comment in haste. I'm sure we can come to some kind of conclusion. Even if its not summarizing but just eliminating polarized words and/or generalisations.--EatAlbertaBeef 01:14, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Monty Hall images
Hi - Can you point me to some examples of more professional looking graphics? I'm not a graphic artist, but if you could let me know the standard you're looking for I might be able to do something. Thanks. -- Rick Block (talk) 04:22, Jun 25, 2005 (UTC)
- I guess just a little less poorly drawn paint goat, if that helps any? The images also look kind of fuzzy. Plus making a new picture would solve any copywrite dispute. --EatAlbertaBeef 04:27, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks. BTW - I'm >99% sure there isn't actually a copyright issue. The image in question was clearly created by a wikipedia user for submission to wikipedia, meaning it's GFDL. I'm not sure what I can do about the goat but I'll try. I'm not sure why they look fuzzy - this could be a screen resolution issue (or an issue with the exact pixel count of the original versus the pixel count of a thumbnail). Is the issue only with the first picture, or both? -- Rick Block (talk) 04:42, Jun 25, 2005 (UTC)
- Both I guess, but I think before you do/if you change them you should receive some feedback from other users. Good job taking the initiative though. --EatAlbertaBeef 04:45, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Looking at the images blown up enough to see the individual pixels, I see there is a lot of what seems to be noise which is probably the fuzziness you're seeing. This shouldn't be too hard to clean up (but kind of tedious). Maybe I can do something with the goat at the same time. When I have the images at least cleaned up, I'll let you know. -- Rick Block (talk) 05:11, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, good luck getting it to work. --EatAlbertaBeef 15:44, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I've submitted some images that shouldn't look fuzzy. Do they look better to you? I haven't done anything with the goat (yet). -- Rick Block (talk) 04:34, Jun 27, 2005 (UTC)
- They look alot better. It is also alot more effective with the pictures split up like that. --EatAlbertaBeef 28 June 2005 23:47 (UTC)

Blocked, odd
- I've only made two edits this month, and neither of them were vandalisms. I'd just like to know whats up, thanks. --EatAlbertaBeef 05:38, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

Wikimedia Canada
Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
