Leigh Lezark (born July 26, 1984) is an American DJ and occasional model, best known as one-third of the New York City-based DJ trio the Misshapes.

Career as a DJ

Lezark grew up in Toms River, New Jersey to a father who was the manager of a fiberglass plant and a mother who Lezark says did "crafts."[1] She started the Misshapes with friends Geordon Nicol and Greg Krelenstein, whom she met two weeks after moving to New York City to attend Hunter College.[1] The trio have travelled throughout Europe and Asia in support of various indie rock and electronica acts. She often uses burnt cds and iPods to DJ.[citation needed]

Modeling career

In 2006, Lezark appeared on the cover of The Sounds' second studio album Dying to Say This to You and made a cameo in their video for "Tony The Beat". The following year, Lezark appeared in the ad campaign for Roberto Cavalli's H&M line.[1] She also walked the runway for Henry Holland during 2007's London Fashion Week.[2] In May 2008, Lezark signed a contract with international modeling agency IMG Models.[3] In September 2008, Leigh Lezark appeared in an ad for Gap, modeling the classic leather jacket. She appears alongside Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz.

Personal life

Lezark lives in New York City with boyfriend Max Minghella.[1][4] In 2006, she was named one of the "25 Sexiest New Yorkers" by the The New York Post.[5]
