"Late Night Cowboy"
Song
B-side"Stairway to Heaven (cover)"

"Late Night Cowboy" is a song recorded by Conan O'Brien in 1994 as an "on-location" piece for Late Night with Conan O'Brien. It was recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee.

Although it was released only on compact disc, O'Brien refers to the B-side of the song, which was a cover of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.[1]

The lyrics of the song refer to an unnamed female guest on a late night talk show, that the singer falls in love with during an interview. The lyrics also make reference to Andy Richter. While recording the song, O'Brien dances during a guitar break. [2]
