Plot
Det. John Hobbes played by actor Denzel Washington is convinced that when killer Edgar Reese is executed, all of his troubles are over. However, when strangers around Hobbes seem to start exhibiting traits of Reese, he finds that perhaps the killer has not moved beyond yet. Learning that the cursed fallen angel Azazel is cursed to roam the Earth without a form, and he can switch bodies by any contact, Hobbes must find a way to stop a spirit that is already dead.
