Translation: "How does it know if you want Print Screen or SysRq?" Well, the SysRq key can be used by simultaneously pressing Ctrl+Alt+PrtScn, and speak English, for God's sake. -Uagehry456talk 03:23, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New copyrighted digital medial standards enforced

What is a "digital medial"? Whatever it is,you better inform Wiktionary, and the rest of the world what this means.Thx.

07/04/2005 on the new Windows Media Player 9 we saw Microsoft complying with copyrighted digital medial. NASA's broadcast of Operation Deep Impact could only be screen captured with grayish-black print screens. The un-updated Real Player provided a means to get around this, but they followed shortly after not allowing images of broadcasts, music videos, etc. to be taken. Today disabling the printscreen is an option Windows offers to movies, music videos, and computer games. Warning: Non-Microsoft print screen utility programs available for purchase also have to honor these licensed media rights and will not copy them correctly. I'm fully aware that hitting the button will cause the cursor to disappear whilst the button is held down, making the cursor not appear in the screenshot; is there a way to bypass this?

Specialist screen capture software is necessary for this. Please see What Wikipedia is not - in particular, "bear in mind that talk pages exist for the purpose of discussing how to improve articles; they are not mere general discussion pages about the subject of the article, nor are they a helpdesk for obtaining instructions or technical assistance." It doesn't work for me. And yes, I know, WP:NOT#FORUM.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 14:02, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it does. Why are you asking here if you already know the guidelines? Stannered 14:15, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You know, WP:RD is there for a reason... --69.226.234.227 (talk) 10:15, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
