Elizur K. Hart
Elizur Kirke Hart (April 8, 1841 – February 18, 1893) was a U.S. Representative from New York.
Born in Albion, New York, Hart attended the Albion Academy. He engaged in banking. He served as member of the State assembly in 1872. He served as director of the Niagara Falls International Bridge Co..
Hart was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-fifth Congress (March 4, 1877 – March 3, 1879). He was not a candidate for renomination in 1878. He resumed his former business pursuits. Founder and president of the Rochester (New York) Post-Express in 1882. He served as president of Orleans County National Bank 1890-1893. He died in Albion, New York, February 18, 1893. He was interred in Mount Albion Cemetery.
