Psycho IV: The Beginning is a 1990 prequel to Psycho, Psycho II & Psycho III. It stars Anthony Perkins, Henry Thomas (who plays Young Norman Bates), Olivia Hussey (who plays Norma Bates) & CCH Pounder. The film was written by Joseph Stefano who also wrote for the original Psycho.

Plot summary

Norman Bates (Perkins) once more having mother trouble. This time around he is invited to share memories of his mother with a radio talk show host (Pounder), but Norman fears that he may kill again for his beloved is impregnated with his child and Norman cannot let another psychopath loose in the civilized world.
