US vs. USA
Please see the section in the Wikipedia manual of style regarding abbreviations of United States. This should answer your question. Thank you. Wperdue (talk) 21:36, 24 May 2009 (UTC)wperdue

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of UFC champions, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This has been explained to you. Now it will be rolled back as vandalism. Wperdue (talk) 04:11, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
UFC champions linking
In this edit to List of UFC champions you remove a wikilink to Georges St. Pierre with the rational "al-ready linked!!!!!, damn punk". Note that Wikipedia linking policy is to link items in tables, even if they've already been linked in the article. The policy states: "In general, link only the first occurrence of an item. This is a rule of thumb that has many exceptions, including the following: [...] tables, in which each row should be able to stand on its own." Also, including "damn punk" in your summary is neither helpful and violates policy. To quote WP:NPA:
- Do not make personal attacks anywhere in Wikipedia. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks do not help make a point; they only hurt the Wikipedia community and deter users from helping to create a good encyclopedia. Derogatory comments about another contributor may be removed by any editor. Repeated or egregious personal attacks may lead to blocks.
