The Sundowners

Edith Frost is the principle singer and probable songwriter of The Sundowners 1996 7" record "Singing Death Chants to the Stars", released on her label Drag City. I'm not aware of any source for this other than the record itself, in which one can plainly hear Edith Frost singing.
