The Franchise is a Washington, DC band specializing in geek rock. The band is comprised of Patrick Nolan, Anna London, Noah Kaye, and David Barak. Their music ranges from the overly silly (Fast Busy) to the mock-serious (Post-Apocalyptic Love Song). They have recorded two CDs, Demolition (2004) and The Sound and the Furry (2005), and are currently working on another album, tenatively titled To the Rescue, which is expected to be released in 2006.
