Joe E. Scruggs

Joe Scruggs was the second head college football coach for the Tennessee State University Tigers located in Nashville, Tennessee and he held that position for three seasons, from 1922 until 1924. His coaching record at Tennessee State was 7 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him 12th at Tennessee State in total wins and seventh at Tennessee State in winning percentage (0.682). [1]
