Thanks

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm impressed with some of the energy Tables which you have contributed, and have just added a few minor changes in the Solar heating article to improve readability. Thank you for your efforts... Johnfos 08:52, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Johnfos! I'm very impressed of your contributions in the Renewable energy articles. Thank you for your greetings and also contributions in the tables. Watti Renew 11:38, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ethanol fuel tables

Hi Watti. I'm wanting to help clarify these tables from the Ethanol fuel article. Could you please let me know which page of the source document the info has come from, as I couldn't find it. Also, I'm thinking these tables might be better in an Ethanol fuel in Europe article. What do you think? regards, Johnfos 22:36, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

: Thank you for your question Johnfos. Thanks to it I noticed the mistakes: Bioethanol consumption in Austria was 0 GWh (2006). USA should be Germany. Please correct also above, if possible. I made new tables with additional data in GWhs. I suggest a subtitle: "Europe" in present article with the tables. Is it OK? I prefer to have one long informative article instead of many scatted ones. I correct the page so that you can see my suggestion. The consumption data is from the tables 1 & 2 and the production data from the table 4 (the EBIO European Bioethanol Fuel Association). The correlation factors are in the new tables. According to the Swedish statistics their use of bioethanol was 1680,33 GWh (2005). In the this table calculated from the Eurobarometer the same value was 1681 GWh. Thus, in these tables the last number may be inaccurate based on small mathematical rounding errors. Thank you for your questions. I am glad you were interested in my contribution. European biodiesel consumption

Hi Watti. Nice table you added to Biodiesel. I think it would be better placed in the Biodiesel around the world page, however.--E8 (talk) 20:19, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks E8, I added it also there. I think the tables give a lot of info in a compact form. Therefore, I recommend to have it in both articles. Watti Renew (talk) 14:19, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As a regular editor of this, and other similar pages, I disagree. The Biodiesel page is already lengthy and confused. Biodiesel around the world is the best location for this material, as it contains "use" information and location-specific details. I put this up for public discussion here. Perhaps a new Biodiesel use page fork is appropriate?--E8 (talk) 20:15, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

E8, I appreciate that you express your points of view for the article development. I support the nation specific consumption levels in all renewable energy main articles equal to Installed wind power capacity (MW) in the article Wind power and Wind power in the European Union. Thank you for the openning of the discussion. Watti Renew (talk) 18:54, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The tables you've added to renewable energy topics are a great addition. Keep it up! E8 (talk) 22:03, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nice surprise. Thank you E8 :) Watti Renew (talk) 15:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Wind Power in Malta. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Economy of Malta. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Economy of Malta - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Electric power in America

Please see discussion re deletion of Category:Electric power in America Hugo999 (talk) 08:24, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hugo999 thank you for your notice of my work in the project: Category:Electric power by country. I give my suggestions in the Categories for discussion Here. I agree this needs further developing. In my opinion the categories are useful for finding all the relevant information. Therefore, everybody are welcomed to help with: Categories by country including : Category:Energy by country and Category:Electric power by country. Watti Renew (talk) 18:12, 27 January 2011 (UTC)). See CfD page; No need for categories in “Electric power” for Latin America or Anglo America, as the main “Energy” category does not use these regions. If a category for “Anglo” North American countries is required call it Northern America. For Category:Electric power in North America remove various subcategories eg Hydroelectricity in Canada so it has only the subcategories (by country) for Electric power in United States, Canada, Mexico. Hugo999 (talk) 21:37, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hugo999, you have correct these need attention. I try to fix the order of categories. Watti Renew (talk) 18:44, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your doubt about this page. In the end of 2009 there was no wind power in Malta.ref. Wind in power 2009 European statistics EWEA February 2010 However, if the potential is as told, the article is in my opinion more important. This is part of Category:Wind power in the European Union project. No wind power in Malta is also important link in this category. Let us consider the article in the discussion. see category re proposed renaming Hugo999 (talk) 12:17, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this proposal Hugo999. I would have changed the name also myself, but I do not have the rights to do it. Thanks. Watti Renew (talk) 18:41, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
New link as agreed: Category:Electric power in Italy.

Article focus

Hi Watti Renew, and thanks for starting the article on deforestation in PNG. You might have noticed I trimmed it a bit, as it is important to keep it focused on the topic. If readers wish to know more about different aspects of the topic they can follow the wikilinks to related articles. For instance in the case of the PNG location map, this is something to be found in the PNG article, while the deforestation article should illustrate deforestation. I think the article needs something like this, maybe with an insert of the 2000 situation in between, but would need somebody to draw one. Maybe someone in the Map workshop could help. --Elekhh (talk) 22:48, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
